Meet Harley,
Some may remember Harley when he was first rescued from the Williston Pound after his owners knowingly left him there-
He has been in our care for a couple weeks now and we have gotten him on a good routine with his medication.
Harley was sedated and we had xrays and full health exam on him to determine on why he could not walk well, go potty, and would just circle in pain-
He was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia which appears he has had for quite some time and left untreated
Front shoulder full of arthritis which he has quite the limp on
Front left knee full of arthritis
Harley showed some aggression towards other animals and it appears it could be partially from the amount of pain he was in-
We are still recommending Harley be an only dog has his previous owners said he has always had aggression towards other male dogs-
We currently have Harley on Anti-Inflammatory medication along with pain meds which he will need daily for the rest of his life-
Harley LOVES with all he has to give-he loves to go down to the water with his current foster family-if he could he would spend every moment with his foster mom and he is very much loved and we want him to find his perfect forever home.
A family who will love Harley and let him have a soft place to rest-he will be very loyal and true to you and your family-
