About Us
The Mondak Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. We are located inside the Buck Scheele Family Animal Center. We provide a temporary safe place for animals awaiting to find their forever homes.

- Prevention of cruelty to animals.
- Reduction of animal overpopulation through the prevention of unwanted births.
- Promotion of an aggressive adoption program which will seek suitable homes for animals without owners.
- Extension of humane education for the public.
Our Short Term Goals
Develop an aggressive adoption programs in the communities that we serve.
Encourage responsible pet ownership, including a spay/neuter program to reduce the number of unwanted animals.
Our Long Term Goals
- Offer services to assist current pet owners such as: obedience classes, spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, education classes, lost and found pet service, grief counseling/support groups for those who have lost a beloved pet.
- Operate a sustaining fully staffed regional animal shelter where we can provide comfort and care for our community’s unwanted animals.
